I recently had the pleasure of meeting Fergal D’Arcy from Today FM for a commercial photography photoshoot with Supermac’s who are now the main sponsors of his afternoon radio show on Today FM. The shoot took place at The Galway Plaza and involved some imagery for marketing purposes as well as some press and public relation imagery. I happen to listen to his radio show every afternoon as it keeps me company while working at my computer getting through the process of editing my client photoshoots and general day to day running of my photography business.
Fergal turned out to be an absolute gentleman and a pleasure to work with. He is a total professional and was willing to go along with my efforts at being a photographer. We started off by setting up a studio in The Galway Plaza for all of the marketing images, images that would be typically used for cut outs and roadside billboards. There was a selection of images created with various different looks that would be suitable for Supermac’s to use as marketing material at their various different locations around Ireland. We then did some press and public relations imagery outside the Galway Plaza highlighting the new sponsorship of Fergal’s show. Supermac’s Managing Director Pat McDonagh also took part in some of the promotional images another man who is an absolute pleasure to work with.
The Fergal D’Arcy sponsored by Supermac’s runs from 2-4:30pm every afternoon on Today FM, my advice tune in for some fun, great music and conversations. While you are listening why not pick up some tasting and tempting food from Supermac’s.
Below are a some of the images from the shoot.
Good times.
