Xerotech are an innovative company based in Claregalway Co. Galway that aims to help heavy industry move away from traditional fossil fuels. Xerotech offer an off-the-shelf platform approach to battery systems. They combine many smaller manufacturers into one large customer block with their scalable battery system. In simple terms they are bringing electric automotive  efficiency to the non-automotive markets such as the industrial and agricultural sectors. The vision of their business is a fully electric future enabling the electrification of low-volume high-diversity mobile equipment through a common-platform, scalable battery system. Aimed at the Automotive, Mining, Industrial, Marine, Aviation and Space industries. Founded by Galway native Barry Flannery in 2015 after studying applied physics at NUI Galway and completing a PhD in mechanical engineering.
