Recently we were commissioned by a company called Keane Thomson who are Estate Agents based in Sandyford Village, Co. Dublin.

The photography brief was a two fold one, updated headshots were required along with editorial business style photographs that could be used on social media, press and trade publications. Music to our ears as Dillon Photography is super experienced in this type of photography bot  from a headshot portrait point of view along with editorial style photography also.

The photo shoot took place at Keane Thompson offices and what a super welcoming bunch of people they were an absolute pleasure to work with. As always with photo assignment such as these the key is to try and not be too disruptive after all it is a working environment but that being said you must not sacrifice the quality of your work by putting speed at the top of the agenda. Afterall it is the quality of the work that we produce that gets us in the door and that is a key factor to remember.

We photographed the business LinkedIn professional headshots first using our signature style a graduated grey background with a soft pocket of light up front on our subjects via a large parabolic soft box aided by some carefully place reflectors one for positive fill and the other for some negative fill to create some dimension and shape with the light. We are always fine tuning our approach in terms of lighting for our signature style headshots. With each individual’s headshots we always like to supply a choice of images to choose from and this was the approach here also. After the headshots were completed some editorial environmental style business portraits of senior team members were captured with company logos and the office space as a background. For those images a fast prime lens was used with super shallow depth of field, throwing the office background out of focus and focusing attention on the relevant team member. Finishing up the shoot some group images were captured outside the offices and those consisted of the full team from Keane Thompson.

Images were delivered via our website and the client was delighted with the work that was produced and the timely delivery.
